日蓮聖人が幼少のときを過ごした、安房小湊にある 天台宗 東光山 西蓮寺。 春のお彼岸 3月17 23日 棚経を行います. 願文内容例 家内安全 交通安全 商売繁盛 病気平癒 心願成就 学業成就. 天安二年 戊寅 に開基されてから、近年まで 60年に1度、戊寅 つちのえとら が開帳の年とされていました. お釈迦さまは誕生されるとすぐに七歩歩み、右手で天を、左手で地を指さして 天上天下 唯我独尊 三界皆苦 我当度之 人は誰でもこの世に一人だけのかけがえのないものである。 お盆の行事のひとつとして、施餓鬼会 せがきえ 供養 せがきえ を行います。 8月13日から16日に行われ、精霊棚(しょうりょうだな) 盆棚 やお仏壇に、精進料理を供えた仏膳 霊供膳 や、季節の物を供えてお盆のしつらえをし、盆提灯を飾ってご先祖や故人の霊をお迎えします。 一般的には13日の夕方に、家の前で焙烙(ほうろく)という素焼きの皿の上でおがらを焚いて、 迎え火 としてご先祖の霊を迎え、16日には再び火を焚いて 送り火 として送り出します. 霜月会 しもつきえ とも言われる天台会 てんだいえ は、天台大師様が入滅された日です。
