Monday, August 15, 2011. I am really going to miss Guam! I never fully appreciate places like this until I look back at pictures of it, even just hours ago. I tried to change my addresses today. Thursday, December 30, 2010. Dec 22: Leave Guam at 6am. Wake up at 4 something. Go to bed the night before at 1. Travel and sleep randomly for the next 24 hours. Arrive in Hawaii on the 21 and then in Newark on the 22. Dec 22: Sleep from 7:30-11:30. Wake up and hang out on Facebook all night and all morning, until everyone else gets up at 9 or so. Dec 23: Nap from 1-3. 4. 5. wake up around 6 to eat. Go to bed at 4am and wake up at 8am. Dec 25. Bed at 4am. again. Dec 27. Did I sleep? My goal: before March...

Monday, May 31, 2010. Sigua Falls is apparently one of the hardest hikes on Guam, but it was amazing and doable for the group that went. We started out as a big group and ended up coming back in small groups by the time everyone climbed their way out and made their way back. Wednesday, June 30, 2010. And since we're on the subject. I came up with a yummy hash brown recipe in which half of the ingredients aren't even potatoes! Here's my seriously delicious. Hash brown recipe, which you'll be thankful you tried. Or, if you're near me, I can make it for you. One half of a spaghetti squash, cut lengthwise and seeded (you can store the other half in the fridge for a while and use for the same recipe, cook and mix with veggies, add to pasta, whatever you want). Friday, August 20, 2010. I now use my twitter to only really check out what Rev. Run has to say. He's awesome, follow him on revrunwisdom:. There was a man who was complaining about having no shoes until he saw a man with no feet (keep a thankful mindset)" Rev Run and, of course I've heard this before. That's not fair for him. But he seemed wonderfully happy, with his wife and family. And here I am, single and moody. Rev Run also twittered this: "Count your blessings, not your problems". You dare give up!

Thursday, April 29, 2010. I have seen one of these twice now, while snorkeling Gun Beach, probably about this size, too. How exciting, right? This guy is in captivity at Underwater World. But it was cool seeing them there, too. I can now add to my list of Guam animals a sea turtle, a shark, and another lion fish. Oh, and manta rays. These are exciting experiences for me. They remind me that I have an unexplored world right off the shore. Scuba certification is under $200 here, too! Labels: Guam Sea Turtle.
