Me, gG, and our fern house. Wednesday, September 16, 2009. I have been living in LA for almost 10 years, but I never went into the building called Little Tokyo Galleria Market. The building is semi empty but has several stores including Utsuwa no Yakata. Discount shop, and several Japanese restaurants. The grocery store there turned into a Korean store, but you can still get lots of Japanese items in there, too. And it is finely powdered. The store sold everything you need for Sado including Matcha!

Me, gG, and our fern house. Wednesday, December 31, 2008. December 2008 thru X'mas to New Year Eve. The word "師走" literally fit our December life. We had a quick trip to Japan at the beginning of December, and then Bob had to go up to SF area for a couple of days, while I was busy with the neighborhood's activities and work-related mess. Then Ko-chan arrived and helped us going into the holiday mode. Then our long awaited friends came! Which affected the second day - yikes - can't do that at this age!

Me, gG, and our fern house. Sunday, February 15, 2009. Watts Tower: Feb 15, 2009. We found out about Watts Tower while we were watching one of the famous game shows called "Jeopardy." Never knew or heard of such a tower, and I did some research online and immediately got very interested in it. Plus we only live 15 mins away from the tower. The towers are full of "joy" "love" and "fun." Everything about the towers made me cheerful. Highly recommended for at least one visit. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
