Masoko Tanga: July 2007
http://masokotanga.blogspot.com/2007_07_01_archive.html
Sprinkle some fries on my cupcake! Friday, 20 July 2007. There's a Starman in the sky. You could say this has been a turbulent week for the LEGO community, the ebb and flow of Brickshelf and the colourful opinions of the users who - used - it. The current outlook is that brickshelf will be available again at a price of $5/month. While I'm not one to object to the site wanting money - I don't want to imagine the bandwidth it sucks up! And the beginnings of a light carrier. I should mention that the thumbn...

Masoko Tanga: November 2007
http://masokotanga.blogspot.com/2007_11_01_archive.html
Sprinkle some fries on my cupcake! Monday, 26 November 2007. As usual, apologies for the lack of updates. This time of year is far too hectic and way too time consuming for everyone as you all no doubt know from personal experience. Rather than building further upon that rant I'd rather just jump right into the Mocs straight away starting out with the entries for Goldman's control the action comp first. Arpy brings us "Incompetencing the world to its doom". Shows that Jerac's Microscale stuff just keeps ...

Masoko Tanga: LEGOGRAPHIA I
http://masokotanga.blogspot.com/2009/04/legographia-i.html
Sprinkle some fries on my cupcake! Sunday, 12 April 2009. However, the lightbox teaches us some lessons. What do those big tissue paned windows do? To know this, you have to understand shadows. Which one is best for LEGO? Now that you know about light size and what it does, we move onto light direction. This is very dependant on the angles of your creation. If you have a spaceship, with a very big side that is full of greebles and you want to draw attention to those greebles, what do you do? Is an exampl...

Masoko Tanga: The Hundred Days
http://masokotanga.blogspot.com/2008/08/hundred-days.html
Sprinkle some fries on my cupcake! Friday, 29 August 2008. Vive le Masoko Tanga! I know he was recently interviewed by LAML, so I tried to ask questions that weren't of the basic and obvious variety. Now, in the last couple of years the demographics of the LEGO community have really changed. Back in 2003, you could refer to the online community as the AFOL community and it would make sense, the majority if not the entirety of the community at places like LUGnet were adults. . There's a certain change tha...

Sprinkle some fries on my cupcake! Thursday, 13 September 2007. Death is the Road to Awe (dancing with myself). Sorry for the lack of posts from me, I went on vacation. I didn't build much over the summer, threw out some stuff at the end, but now I'm in school and the building is grinding to a halt. But, I have been working on the website! You may have noticed the header change here to better fit in with the main page. So check out http:/ masokotanga.unicornbreak.com. I think microspace has always been a...

Masoko Tanga: LEGO Photography 101 - Week 2
http://masokotanga.blogspot.com/2008/09/lego-photography-101-week-2.html
Sprinkle some fries on my cupcake! Friday, 19 September 2008. LEGO Photography 101 - Week 2. A cloudy day, a light tent or light box, window light (and this is specific, so wait), or reflected light. A light tent or a light box is about as fancy as you can get. You'll need a cardboard box, a box cutter, some box tape, and some form of half-opaque/half-transparent paper (e.g.: tissue, wax, parchment, etc.). Then go. Do yourself a favour, stick to one light colour, set your camera accordingly, and be merry.
