Back With Tales of Adventure. Thursday, June 16, 2011. Girls Camp - Day 1. From the get-go, the YCL's had one of the toughest jobs (FYI, a YCL is a Youth Camp Leader, they've gone to girls camp 4 years, and now kinda run the camp. Lindsey Peterson and I were the YCL leaders for the Stake). We had to get up there about 4 hours before the wards showed up to set-up our tents (no luxury cabins for us! Help the stake unpack the tons and tons of food, decorate etc. Everyone's here and ready for dinner!

Back With Tales of Adventure. Saturday, October 3, 2009. I haven't posted in forever, I apologize. I've thought about it a lot, but haven't had any time. Prepared. It's difficult to finally be -here- at this place, but oh my gosh, we've had OVER an entire YEAR to spend time with my Mom, talk, learn, grow, love and squeeze. Back With Tales of Adventure. Monday, May 30, 2011. May 30, 2011. We drove Sunday after church 8 1/2 hours, stayed in a hotel, and drove Monday 4 or so more hours to finally be HERE! This is Mariposa Grove - a grove of Sequoia trees. It's hard to tell at first, but if you'll compare the ginormous red tree to the skinny winny trees next to it, those are normal forest size trees. These things were HUGE! The roots of the Fallen Monarch. They were big too. Give the kid a stick and he goes all ninja on ya.
