A blog about yoga, yoga teacher training and a little about autism. April 17, 2016. May 14, 2016. How it all began for me. I first came to yoga 6 years ago. I desperately needed something to alleviate a life full of demands and deadlines and the unique stress that only parents of children with special needs will understand. I’d dabbled years before in dusty, freezing church halls, but it hadn’t been the right time and Yoga just wasn’t the right fit, until now……. How did yoga begin? How did it all begin?

Whether it be through education, exercise or diet, there is always some new therapy, vitamin or potion for us to try. Some of us are poorer in pocket, but richer in outcome and some of us, sadly, just poorer in pocket …. This is wonderful of course, except his love of food can lead to some pretty poor nutritional choices.
