http://teddybaird.blogspot.com/2013/01/christmas-at-lakehouse.html
Tuesday, January 1, 2013. Christmas at the Lakehouse. This year, we spent Christmas at my parents' Lakehouse in northern Minnesota. It was cold but wonderful! Bundled up and ready for some fun in the snow! We got to see these cool people: Uncle KC, Nana, Auntie Lisa, Uncle Alex, and Pa (left to right). Waiting for fish to bite. Winter walk with Daddy. Thank you, Nana and Pa! We miss you already! I love the blog updates! Hope you had a Happy New Year! January 11, 2013 at 9:44 PM. Happy 3rd Birthday, Liam!

Bless Your Tart: Seattle Part Deux
http://blessyourtart.blogspot.com/2011/08/seattle-part-deux.html
Thursday, August 18, 2011. Today Jason and I ran around Seattle, going from place to place. First stop, Pike Place Market. There were so many great, fun street artists.here is one of them we loved. And don't forget the alley of gum.an entire side street covered with used chewing gum. It smelled like tropical punch :). We made our way to the Space Needle and went up 520 feet to the observation deck. It was such a cool, beautiful Pacific Northwest kind of day. More pictures coming soon :). Fire in the Hole!

Bless Your Tart: August is......

Tuesday, August 2, 2011. National Goat Cheese Month! Get ready for a month full of some deliciousness! Goat cheese is quite possibly my favorite type of cheese. From a light and creamy French Chevre to a tangy Greek Feta, goat cheese is such a versatile item to have in the kitchen. I love to pair this type of dairy item with poached fruits, fresh figs and house made crackers. It is wonderful tossed with cranberries or strawberries in a fresh spinach salad or used with slow roasted garlic on a pizzetta.

Bless Your Tart: The Substitute
http://blessyourtart.blogspot.com/2011/07/substitute.html
Friday, July 29, 2011. Did you ever have one of those days where you just don't seem to have what you need? Or what you thought was an unopened box of, say baking powder, turned out to be a vacation getaway spot for some bugs? Well, be afraid no more! I found myself this morning running out of a few odds and ends. Although it's best to not have to substitute, life just doesn't work that way sometimes. Here are a few common ways to substitute for certain ingredients. For 1 cup of Buttermilk:. I will admit...

Saturday, July 30, 2011. For all of the people whom I have met through the years, a big MAHALO for continuing to support us and showing up week after week with an empty bag (and stomach) ready for filling. For fun, and just out of curiosity, I thought I would make a list of approximately how many cookies, scones and treats I have made over the years here at the Gardens. Here it goes:. Made at least 6 dozen a week). Made about 18 dozen a week). Made 4 a week). Made 3 a week). Made 32 a week).
