Monday, February 10, 2014. Knox and Evan had their first "sleepover" together which went incredibly bad- ha! But I guess that was to be expected, I figured it was worth a shot. They ended up finally going to bed around 10:00 pm (after we separated them) and then were both hugely cranky and whiney on Saturday. Oh well, you live and learn. Here are some pics from when it finally stopped being freezing and we could get outside on Saturday! Isla loves playing in the sand. Isla and Evan playing "together".

Tuesday, October 29, 2013. Our little pumpkin is turning one! Photo of the week. This past weekend we celebrated our sweet little Isla turning one! Her actual birthday is tomorrow but we had her party on Sunday. Kyle's mom, Sally, came into town to celebrate with us as well. Saturday, July 26, 2014. Isla has her first friend. Her name is Molly and she is a doll. She's sweet and beautiful and in true little girl fashion loves to play in the mud and get dirty. She and Isla squeal with delight when they see each other and then they scream and cry and steal each other's baby dolls. Isn't that what little girl friendship is? I think so and I am so sad for Isla and Molly to be parting ways this week. I got to do a little photoshoot with Molly a few weeks ago. She is a runner!

Monday, April 9, 2012. A couple weekends ago we got to relax and get out of town. We had a great time away with Ryan's mom, brother, sister-in-law, and our nephew, Levi. We rented a house on VRBO and it was perfect. It was located in the middle of Houston but on 7 acres of land with horses and chickens. lots of room for the kids to play and for us all to be outside, soaking up the beautiful spring weather. The Ags took on the LSU Tigers, and Ryan has a lot of family and family friends from Louisiana, so this was a special game for us. B had an absolute blast.
