Salinas Owners and Pilots Association. Activities emphasize good-time fly-outs and get-togethers including:. Flying to nearby airports for the proverbial $100 hamburger. Spring and Fall trips farther away. Past trips have included the. Idaho back country, Utah, Grand Canyon and Baja. BBQ's at the Salinas airport and other nearby airports. We also support the Young Eagles program in conjunction with EAA Chapter 204. SOPA members help support the California International Airshow each Fall.
