Saturday, October 24, 2009. A field trip to HeeHaw Farms for Max's preschool. They have a huge slide that the kids love! This might have been Max's favorite part. They have horse tire swings this year. They had a little petting zoo. We were laughing so hard because Malia was yelling at the donkey but her yells really sounded like a donkey braying so it sounded like she was trying to talk to it. Friday, October 22, 2010. For UEA we headed down to St. George. We have actually never done more than just wave as we have driven past, so it was nice to visit. Kyrk did a century ride on Sat. so we decided to make a weekend out of it. Thanks to our friend Josh, we were able to have lodging (he pulled some strings at the timeshare-there were no openings but he works there! Stay tuned and I'll show you what we ended up in). Lots of fun cracks and holes to play in. Ally wanted to try taking a picture.

Sunday, October 10, 2010. This was Kambria's cake. I saw the cake tattoos at the store and couldn't resist. They looked like too much fun. I really. Need to get a cake pedestal. She REALLY just wanted to touch the flame. Good thing she had lots of helpers. I gave her the cupcake on top. I think our last two kids threw up after eating their cake. I thought this was a wise choice. So after putting a throw away tablecloth down, and taking her clothes off-. She painted with the frosting. And was so happy!

Sunday, November 22, 2009. Malia wrapped her baby up and put it next to Kami. This bouncy chair has been so good AND so bad. Good because Kami loves to sleep in it, bad because Malia loves to pull the back down and let go and I'm so afraid that she is going to rocket the baby out of that thing. Carving pumpkins. Friday, May 30, 2008. Maya has become quite skilled at holding the phone with her shoulder. (she has had plenty of time to watch her mom doing this). Here she is talking to Grandpa, telling him how much she loves him. Maya, Mason and I went to cheer Brett on as he ran in the Nashville Half Marathon. Luckily by the time we got there the rain had mostly stopped. Brett did a great job and we were all so proud of him. Brett and Dan Kirzeder after the race. Wednesday, December 08, 2010. Our little girl turned one. Ellie is such a happy baby. She is very sweet and pleasant. We feel very blessed to have her in our family. She enjoyed a nice piece of chocolate cake and opened some presents. (Mason and Maya wrapped up some of our toys for her to open and Gma Christian gave her a new stuffed lion.). We stopped at a Gaki Yaki stand and had delicious grilled oysters. Then we walked down towards the shrine. We got lucky - there was a whole wedding ceremony going on at the shrine. Saturday, May 14, 2011. Osaka - Tsutenkaku, Shinsaibashi and Dotonbori. We took the bullet train (shinkansen) from Tokyo to Osaka. It can go as fast as 170 MPH. I couldn't look out the windows for too long - it made me sick seeing all of the building fly by. Sunday, April 19, 2009. We got our inflatable pool out on Friday and played around for a while. The kids had a great time (except that the water was a little cold). I love spring days in Tennessee. Maya got a little cold and decided to lay on the concrete to warm up. Mason was just chillin' on the side of the pool.
