Fun times with Annie Grace and Eric James. 5 months, 6 months. Aka delinquent mommy blogger. Since my last post (2 months ago! Eric has passed the 5 month and the 6 month mark! At his 1/2-year check, he weighed in at 16lbs, 13 oz. My prediction is that he will pass his sister in weight by the time he is 18 months. (She weighed 25lbs, 2 oz at the same visit.). Fun times with Annie Grace and Eric James. Eric had another checkup yesterday and weighed in at 9lbs, 2oz! He's at about the 60th percentile for length, weight, and head circumference! This is quite different from his big sister, who was squarely less than 10th percentile for size from day 1 and is now hovering around the 3rd. Annie is quite smitten with him! Fun times with Annie Grace and Eric James. While we were at home, Eric hit the one month mark! He is a happy little boy most of the time, and from the beginning he has had lots of smiles in his sleep- even giggling at his dreams! I still don't understand that one, but it's the cutest thing to see! He's just starting to smile on purpose, often at his big sister. He thinks she's pretty funny, and gives her these full on, wide open toothless grins! Of course, I have a hard time catching them with the camera.

We've had a busy year including the end of Tara's radiology residency and beginning of her fellowship, John's fellowship match for rheumatology to start in July next year, and lots of milestones for Annie as chronicled here. Fun times with Annie Grace and Eric James. 17 months and beyond. My baby keeps getting bigger! July is a busy month when you are a resident or fellow. John began his third and final year of residency. I started my year-long neuro fellowship. And Annie has decided that she now wants to blow bubbles EVERY MOMENT OF EVERY DAY. Fun times with Annie Grace and Eric James. 18 and 19 months! Stats: 16 teeth, 1 trip to the dentist, 22 lbs, and up to the 25th percentile for height! Two months later and just now updating! Annie has continued to just blossom in understanding and personality. Her vocabulary is exploding! In the last week and a half, we have started putting her to bed without staying in the room to pat her until she is asleep.
