On this special day , ANZAC Day , 25th April 2013, we recall those men. And women who gave service to their country , who sacrificed their lives. Sunday, July 18, 2010. The Wonderful world of Tie-Dye - Vintage and Modern. I am crazy about tie - dye .whether it comes from India, Japan or Africa those tiny dots just do something to me. I made two samples - one in queen size $695, one in king single $495. Direct for purchase enquiries. I found an old Rajasthani tie dyed shawl in heavenly faded ochre ...

Tuesday, November 29, 2011. Tuesday, November 8, 2011. The Desert People of Bhuj. The men are shepherds, always looking after their sheep and goats using their crooks to herd them into line as they slowly meander over the road. It is such a pleasure to just follow them at snails pace checking out every detail. The children, who are drop dead gorgeous, make their own beaded jewellery. There are no schools in the area, so they help out at home. Sunday, November 6, 2011. Belle's Nomad Champagne launch.

An untouched but much loved Queenslander. Unchanged for over five decades, this home just speaks for itself. Thankyou to Ailsa, 84 of Mackay. For inviting us in. Pour yourself a nice cup of tea, open the milk arrowroots and enjoy. If you leave things alone they often hold true. This splashback is just cool. Nanna's place. A home like this stays forever in fond childhood memories. Pride of place. Ailsa displays a gift from one of her children (who all grew up here). Links to this post. It's refreshing to ...
