I specialised in printmaking as a mature student of Fine Art at the (then) Leeds Polytechnic in the early 1970s. I had started adult life as a geography teacher but changed direction. I have had a zigzag career since then, as a teacher in Further Education and later as an interviewer on government surveys. I have been an active member of Loughborough Artspace since 1999 and a member of Charnwood Writers for even longer.

Sally Chiu - Artist

Sally was a student of the Santa Barbara school system until she graduated from high school. She then pursued her interest in art at The St. Martin's Art Institute in London where she studied figure drawing and painting. She also studied printmaking with Corita Kent at Immaculate Heart College in Los Angeles. Ms. Chiu completed her education at The University of California at Santa Barbara.
