Thursday, April 30, 2009. Grove Family Dance 2009. This year Jake got a snake painted in his arm. I know this sounds like a pretty basic thing that all kids do, but for Jake this is huge! Wednesday, April 29, 2009. Here's the picture that I held out on from Easter. I framed some copies and have now passed nearly all of them out. Monday, November 30, 2009. Funny story from Megan. Katy and Chloe were building a puzzle and since Katy is 3 and Chloe is 4 1/2, Chloe did most of the building but Katy was happily enjoying the experience. Then the conversation went like this:. Chloe: "Mrs Morrrisss, come see what we did.". Megan: "Oh girls that is so good, let me take a picture". Katy: still smiling happily. Chloe: "I did it all myself". Then LOOK at Katy's face. Monday, March 16, 2009. Meeting our Daughter just one year ago. How hard it was to say goodbye to that week and temporarily goodbye to a little girl that I had only just met but already loved so much. And now here we are.a year later. So much crammed into this one year. So much our daughter has lived and experienced compared to her first year of living everyday in just 2 rooms. How fast a year goes by! Just one year ago. So hungry for a cheerio. So unsure of this man called daddy. So darn little and cute.

Saturday, February 21, 2009. The Vacation is Over! We are home, the bags are unpacked and laundry has been washed and put away. It's always nice to be home especially after being on the road with 3 little ones for 7 hours and hearing every half hour a combo of how many more miles to go and are we home yet. Ugh! It was a long, long drive but it was worth it. Although next time I think I would take the hastle of flying just to save myself a half of day of travel. That or leave at night. We were all smiles!

The simple recipe we used. 2 cups sifted all purpose flour. 1/2 tsp baking powder. 1/2 tsp baking soda. 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon. 1/2 tsp ground cloves. 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg.
