From New Orleans to Singapore. Monthly Archives: April 2014. Sichuan at People’s Park. Anytime we need a fix for spicy, hot food we go to People’s Park Hawker Center. In the back of the place is a row of stalls offering Sichuan style fare. At one of the more popular stalls, you pick the meats and veggies of your choice and specify the level of heat. There are 2 or 3 stalls that offers the same theme, at the same price. For S$8, you get a large bowl enough for two! April 4, 2014.

Tuesday, January 22, 2013. You've heard of Taco Soup, that deconstructed hot mess of salsaliciousness where no spoon is needed as long as you have plenty of tortilla chips. Meet Taco Soup's Italian cousin - Pizza Soup. It is molto bene. 1 medium yellow onion, diced. 1 medium red, yellow or orange bell pepper, diced. 4 cloves of garlic, finely diced, divided. 1 quart of canned Roma tomatoes, including canning liquid. 1 can diced tomatoes, including liquid. 4 cups tomato juice or V8 juice. 1 tsp fennel seed.
