Mon, Oct. 5th, 2009, 04:27 pm. I'll post some photos when I have a moment, but here's a quick summary of our recent trip to Maine. Arrived and checked-in at the Econo Lodge in Freeport without incident and without any heavy traffic. Ate dinner at Gritty McDuff's. And grabbed some in-room snacks at the local Shaw's. Visited L.L. Bean. Checked-out of the hotel and had breakfast at Michelle's favorite hole in the wall breakfast place near the hotel. Headed back towards the PineCrest Inn. For our B&B stay...

What I love about greater Portland! Each week I will share with you something or someone that makes me love Portland! Sunday, October 21, 2007. Another scenic autumn afternoon can be spent just driving across the Casco Bay Bridge and visiting South Portland, Scarborough and Cape Elizabeth, literally minutes from downtown Portland. The drive takes less than an hour, unless you stop and take a walk along one of the many beaches, visit the light houses, or enjoy a snack or meal! Rborough Beach and Pond Cove.
