Into Left Field: December 2014
http://intoleftfield.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Sunday, December 28, 2014. Miss Zoey turned 1 on Xmas day! All grown up.a huge 28 lbs and 19" tall. That's pretty much the same size as Abby, so perfect in my books! We had a really fun visit with Erika and Loic visiting this weekend. It turns out that running around the farm with a 5 yr old means that not a whole lot of pictures (none) got taken of the farm weekend! Zoey loves Loic - they played games all weekend. Chickens in the morning - on the hunt for bugs! Abby: farm lover. Child hater. We've been ...

Into Left Field: May 2015
http://intoleftfield.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
Tuesday, May 26, 2015. I promise I will find time for a real update soon, but for now, here is my hammock collie and I having our morning coffee. Wednesday, May 6, 2015. Our house raspberries are going gangbusters! What a pretty flock of ducks (one of these things is not like the others). Google actually tells me it is a "safe" of ducks when they're on land and a "raft" when they're in water. Oh google, so handy. Errrstrange place for a bed, Pips. I love how it looks in there now. Collecting hay by hand.

Tuesday, June 2, 2015. Does this angle make my nose look big? Just wants pets. He is so itchy when his hair/wool starts coming out! Just wants a bit of grain, please! Phillip is BIG. Probably because he still tries to nurse from his mom! Oprah and her minions after her hand-shearing job by moi. Amelia halfway through her shedding job taken care of my nature. We have lots going on right now! We're going to camp? Pretty Penny - one of the incubator chicks from January. Um, did you say HAM? Maybe she should...

Into Left Field: November 2014
http://intoleftfield.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Saturday, November 29, 2014. We were completely shocked this morning to wake up to this! My parents are visiting and this sure made it seem like an early Christmas. I went out to take some photos but only made it as far as the duck house before my camera battery died! Victoria wondering whether she needs to give Zoey a good peck on the nose. Time to come back to the warm hay! Who's that in our house? Everyone has headed to bed for the night.at 4:30. It's already starting to get dark! Docks, Ducks, Dogs.

Into Left Field: Mid Summer Update
http://intoleftfield.blogspot.com/2015/07/mid-summer-update.html
Tuesday, July 28, 2015. I've been so bad about updating the blog this summer! It isn't for lack of things going on on the farm - but more because busy, busy, busy. Between farm, work, guests, and my fear (for good reason) of wasps, I haven't gone out to take any photos. I finally did take some today. Nathan's parents are here for a month and they've been a huge help around the farm. Some succulents in the yard. Pond all covered in duck weed - ducks are happy! He runs to me and jumps up to sit in my lap.

Into Left Field: June 2014
http://intoleftfield.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
Friday, June 27, 2014. I'm already losing track of what we've done here so far in the month since we officially got our keys.let's see. Wallpaper out of the master bedroom. Painted the master bedroom, kitchen, and still need a coat in the living room. Put in a new toilet, sink, cabinet in the bathroom (and filled in a big gap in the laminate under the old vanity). Before (with new toilet, though):. Cleaned.cleaned, cleaned and cleaned some more. Cleared the basement and workshop of most of the junk.

Into Left Field: August 2015
http://intoleftfield.blogspot.com/2015_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 31, 2015. February 2010 - August 2015. We had Thomas for 2 years and he was such a staple on our farm. He loved his head scratches and he always came when we called him over to the fence. I'm going to look forward to not having to watch my back every time I walk near his paddock (he could make quite the dent ramming page wire fencing! But more than that, I'm going to miss that big, gentle (with the ewes and lambs, and Pippa especially) ram. Friday, August 14, 2015. Such a good mama duck.

Wednesday, February 18, 2015. So it's spring now. In other parts of the country there are snow storms and we have.spring! Plants are confused, animals are confused, we're confused. I'm going with it! We let the chicks out when we're outside to supervise. They have a great time running around. First tentative steps outside. Look at GoZ on the right.Frost is on the left. They're the only ones with names so far. Miss DoZ and her big booty. So nice to see you again. Rye is taking off. Finally, the sun came o...
