Sunday, 28 December 2008. This bit is for serious elephant lovers only - the video clip goes on forever! We stayed here in extreme comfort at Mole Motel - built on the top of an escarpment that overlooks a waterhole. An elephant was having a bath when we arrived. We went on safari by jeep and on foot and saw more elephants, baboons,monkeys and antelope. Not to mention the warthogs that wandered round the motel! The mosque at Larabanga. Tongo hills and Chief's palace. Slave camp at Paga. 16 Coat of Arms.

Saturday, 17 January 2009. Christmas Part 5 - New Years at the beach! My goodness, I’m waffling on forever – sorry; I’ll try and wrap it up! Dancing under the stars and a big bonfire on the beach – New Year on the beach is fab – I would definitely recommend it. Wednesday, 11 February 2009. I hope that this entry finds you all well and enjoying the cool temperatures! After a month of ‘cool’ (well just in the 20s) where I actually needed a blanket at night it’s suddenly started to get HOT! On Saturday it was 42 degrees and boy did we feel it. However a colleague has assured us that it only goes up to 43 in the HOT season which is March and April… so that was kind of reassuring, but goodness me that is HHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT! Whatever do you mean?
