(I guess that's what happens when both your parents work. does this mean I can't expect fresh baked chocolate chip cookies when I come home from school either? Saturday, June 14, 2008. Gramma Tia came to town for a visit and we went to Rockaway Beach for the weekend. The weather was perfect for the Oregon Coast. Chilly and windy one day, warm and sunny the next. We went for lots of walks in the sand, posed for pictures, and spent most of the day Saturday watching Tiger in the US Open. I can see why Mom and Dad like spending time at here. I guess I just don't totally understand why I'm still wearing a hat and sock-gloves in the middle of June!

I LOVE hanging out at her cabin - it's pretty much non-stop fun. park in the morning, pool all day, walks to spot deer in the afternoon. and dinner's outside on the patio. We had all sorts of fun riding and camping in the van, climbing on the rocks and most of all playing in the river (you gotta cool down somehow right? Saturday, June 29, 2013. Berry picking - round 1. Strawberry picking requires some serious teamwork. Caitlyn learned this the hard way. after claiming she could pull the wagon herself ("I can do it myself"). she quickly figured out she actually did need my help. you should have seen how far we pushed that wagon! The berry patch was the far end of the farm but it didn't slow us down a bit. plus we got to re-fuel with berries when we got there :). And what would a trip to the farm be without a hay ride!
