Saturday, 14 February 2015. Over at the PA blog. Wednesday, 11 February 2015. I wanted to play with my new colours of chalky finish DecoArt paint. After a coat of gesso I painted the mdf wooden heart shape with a couple of layers of lace. Then patiently waited whilst a coat of weathered wood dried and applied a coat of romance on the top to create this fantastic crackle. Once dried I used my finger to edge with carbon black chalky paint. Close up of the fab crackle. And the sun came out. Orange Tag and D.

Monday, 10 August 2015. I was dying to try out my new colours of DecoArt dazzling metalics and my new Limor Webber eye stamp, so decided to combine the two! I used a mix of royal ruby and worn penny, stenciled in white gesso and chalky paints. I added some script and using a posca pen outlined the stenciling. I edged in black soot distress ink. Sunday, 9 August 2015. 16 Page Teesha Moore Style Journal - Part 4. And again this is another of the flaps. Getting to grips better with the lettering. You may have already seen this page, Helen and Leandra challenged me to use pink and flowers. The whole page layout. Other side of the flap. More pen work using my new white Sharpie. I have been re-thinking the whole crafting thing.and whilst I still make some cards etc and use digital crafting mostly I am concentrating on encaustic/mixed media art these days. I have exhibited at a couple of local venues and sold a couple there which was a great boost! Here are a few of the latest pics. Friday, 27 July 2012. I wanted to try using an image tranfer technique.tried it before with dodgy results lol! I think this one worked out quite well. I then spritzed the back of the image and rubbed with my finger to remove the paper backing.a slow job.spritzing as required until the image revealed itself, then dried it off gently with a hairdryer. Saturday, 9 November 2013. Wellbeen a funny old week.felt like a month of Sundays! Felt a bit down in the dumps and slept a lot.not so bad today til just now.feeling soo cold and not too good, just hope I am not going down with something! Been debating with myself.should I get a house cat or not? Never sure if it is cruel to keep a cat permanently indoors but am reliably informed that one can keep a cat that has auto-immune problems quite happy and safe .still pondering on that one.
