Stop Frame Animation – Samaira Farid

Another form of animation to be explored for this was stop frame, in which progressive movement is made in each individual photo to create an effect of still image movement. For this task I wanted to make everyday objects come to life, and so I chose to use pencil crayons as they are a simple everyday tool which can be manipulated to demonstrate another use of crayons. These 6 images were produced as sequential, to create a linear narrative of a train journey, starting at Glossop and ending in Liverpool. Images of the places were added to the different points showing what was being visited, however there was a lack of media as no sound or video content was added to further the narrative.
