I graduated from college with a degree in Elementary Education. I bought my first house. I got my first teaching job at Adams Elementary. And taught over 150 kids. I lived in Colorado for about 3 weeks before abandoning the idea completely. I lived in Yakima for 6 years and got my first dog from the pound.

This year we had a group of 6 boys, 3 from 6th grade, 3 from 7th grade. And they were just lovely. I mean you really couldn't ask for a better group of kids to take. The festival involved taking a tour of the Estonian film museum, learning how to do stop motion films, and a tour of an air and sea museum. Sam and katie mirkovich.

Life on Goldfinch

Wednesday, August 26, 2009. Things are as busy as ever with little Nita. She's quickly acquiring some essential life skills. She can now wriggle out of a lap, grab interesting items near her face and put them in her mouth, and fuss convincingly about nothing at all. It's fun to watch her learning. She still hasn't rolled over, but it's not for lack of trying! At about 17 pounds, she's got a lot of weight to move. so we'll just have to be patient. Here are a few pics:.
