The SamandRuby Charity has been created as a lasting tribute to Samantha and RubyRose Archer Fayet who were lost in the 2004 Tsunami. The aim of the charity is to help disadvantaged children in Thailand, especially in Phang Nga Province. This is the region most damaged by the Tsunami and it's where Sam and Ruby were lost. In Thailand education is free until the age of 13, but for many people it's too expensive to buy basic necessities such as shoes, school uniforms, books and even school meals. Very ...

The Sam and Ruby Charity. The SamandRuby Rose Charity was founded in the aftermath of the 2004 Tsunami. The Charity was established in remembrance of Samantha Archer Fayet and her daughter Ruby Rose Fayet, who lost their lives in the disaster. The aim of the Charity is to help children in Thailand, especially in Phgang Nga Province, the region that was most devastated by the Tsunami. The local people, who themselves had lost so much, helped many foreign visitors, including Patrice, Sam's surviving husband.
