1 week until placement! May 11, 2014. So it has really set in that this time next week I will have finished up work with my little kindergarten cherubs and heading out into the big school playground. Day 1 of Prac! November 17, 2014. Today was a great start to placement I have been placed in a class that is boy heavy in ratio but they are a lovely group of year 2 students. Following at C2C guide we have been working using the interactive whiteboard for Mathematics and English. 5E’s Instructional Model. April 26, 2014. For Assignment 2, I have chosen the 5E’s as my Pedagogical frame work. Engage, Explore, Explain, Elaborate, and Evaluate. I feel this is a great model to use as you can use it with children and adults of any age, as it is a model that builds on prior learnt knowledge and it is also a model that continually assess the student/learners understanding of the concept being taught. December 13, 2014. Well as another year comes to an end, I would like to wish everyone I have studied and worked with in 2014 and Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Looking forward to new ways in which I can use ICT’s in the class room in 2015 and beyond! It has been a great year of learning and seeing how much of an impact ICT has on our lives and in our education, It is fantastic in bringing peoples attention in to focus on any particular topic and we would all be lost without it!

April 14, 2014. So looks like this weekend was a fail to do catch up and begin my assignment 2, so Easter is looking like an awesome time to catch up and start, as I live busy social life this week! November 11, 2014. Next week I will be re beginning my 3 week Placement for EDC3100, due there being a mix up and communication issues last attempt at completing the prac. This time I’m off to a State School in Brisbane which is exciting as it will be a new school in a new town as I have also moved to Brisbane from Gladstone since last Prac and doing the ICT unit in S1,2014.
