My Extraordinary Adventure of Taste. Friday, December 7, 2012. The Holidays are here and there is something happening every weekend, almost every weekday, plus work, plus the everyday stuff, and it was beginning to be to much. I needed a relaxing weekend to GET STUFF DONE and that is what I did. I had the house to myself. So it was pretty quiet, the TV was off most of the time, except for when I was watching Pretty Woman. I achieved so much and now I can say I feel ready to take on all of our festivities.

My Extraordinary Adventure of Taste. Wednesday, September 19, 2012. This last weekend I was down in southern California and if you were there you would also know it was really hot! When it is hot at night and you can't sleep, Pinterest is to the rescue! Recipe Saturday night and have not stopped thinking about it since. I added a special touch of our traditional balsamic. It really took it to the next level! It's a winner at our house, look how much Andrew liked it! Thursday, September 6, 2012. I used Ru...

E. A. T.: August 2012

My Extraordinary Adventure of Taste. Friday, August 24, 2012. Andrew and I fell in love with Macrina Bakery and Cafe. S Mushroom and Pepperoni Quiche. It was to die for and I decided I wanted to try and make it, but make it without grains or dairy. I used this recipe here. It was great, a slight taste of coconut, which was weird, but it didn't bother me because the pepperoni and mushrooms were so savory! Wednesday, August 22, 2012. I wouldn't say pizza, but it was delicious! So Week #3 was at our house, ...

Party blab: an ode to summer. Summer has come and gone with a flash, much to my dismay. While the disappearance of warm weather and outdoor evenings is far from our near future, I was shocked to see Halloween décor being dusted off recently. Really? A bit premature, in my opinion. I thought it best to incorporate the most obvious summer favorites into our “Ode to Summer” weekend, including watermelon cocktails, floppy hats and sunglasses and evening barbeques. Contributed to Food and Wine. 2 In a blender...

My Extraordinary Adventure of Taste. Monday, June 10, 2013. Remember when I turned 26, and I wasn't GLUTEN FREE! For those who know me know I LOVE MY BIRTHDAY! And I have the best family and friends to spoil me on my special day, or week! Twenty Six for some reason feels like a big milestone. Maybe because I am no longer in the 18-25 age group and I now am with the group going up to 34! 34 sounds so far away! Anyways. I always love a reason to celebrate and even more fun celebrating me. So what did we do?

Fashion blab: rain is a good thing. Last night I was awoken from my slumber by what? Items in my garage tumbling down? Luckily, it was neither and instead a welcomed and thunderous downpour. Most might think, "I should probably go shut the windows" or "I hope the dog is inside." However, my mind functions in the manner that leads me to instead ponder, "Which scarf am I going to wear to work tomorrow? And "Does this mean I can now legally wear boots?
