It's been a while I suppose, and I hate to say it, but that's because I haven't shot anything in that long while. But it's a new year, a new quarter, and I'm getting back into the swing of things, so why not shoot some swing dancing? I went to the Jitterbug Club's weekly meeting where, last Wednesday, Bob and Gayle Moses were teaching the Balboa. Maybe in a few weeks I'll ditch the camera and learn a few of the steps. Sunday, November 23, 2008. My final project for ViCo 486 was at Suwali Farm in Glouster, Ohio. The farm is run by Deb Schneider and Rik Simmons. Nine years ago the couple moved from Columbus onto their dream property. It was 42-acres of pasture and woods, with a pond and a barn, which was perfect for their 5 kelpies (herding dogs.) Saturday, May 9, 2009. I'm working on a documentary for my final photo class at OU! I'm working with the Faith Believers' Ministry in Mineral, Ohio and the Feed My Sheep Food Pantry run by the church. Reverend Ray Ogburn and his wife Anita have been wonderful to me and I have had such a great time so far. The church has a congregation of 15, but most weeks there are 10 people (myself included) so it is very different than what I have experienced myself. Posted by Melissa Santorelli.
