Sunday, 24 April 2016. Working from the Sketches. Working back into boards in thin oil, thinking of what I've seen and the light areas. The w/c sketches are all around me. Using a scruffy old brush, a knife, scraping the paint around, scratching back into the surface. Keeping my mind open. Damien Rice 'Faded Fantasy' playing over and over . Saturday, 23 April 2016. Wednesday, 23 December 2015. How it Looked Today. The washes between the New and Old Bedford rivers. The water level is going down at the moment. 2 Starts of Sutton Gault.
