On the waiting game, and being thankful for your team. As for the update on treatment…. We’re waiting, waiting, waiting. chris’s surgery date is still pending (they have to remove the tumor, after all), but we’ve finally got a date for his next scan. it took a bit of tenacity, but i’ve learned from the best on how to call, call, call and call some more until you get the answers you need. Hi hi apologies for the lack of updates. things have been busy here. Chris is doing pretty well all things considered. as the medication period has gone on, he’s had a few more side effects, but with help from the doctors we’ve been able to manage them and get him back to feeling as good as possible. it’s to be expected at this phase of the game, but to be honest we’ve had it far better than we thought we would. Kick back, rev up. Chris has had a few treats over the last few weeks – an exceptionally kind walter mccarty. Sent us a celtics. Basketball autographed by former kentucky player rajon rondo. his cousins came up from south carolina and we had an impromptu party with lexingtonian pals. we also hosted a super fun dinner with our lexington friends and got to see our longtime friend kaitlyn. Maker’s mark still house. Awesome surprise visit from kaitlyn, matt and captain! Making new friends at zombie paintball.
