The twists and turns of building a Toy Train collection and Museum in the Land Downunder. Monday, July 27, 2015. A beautiful sunny day today, after a wet and dismal weekend. Good news- the painting of all the verandah timber is finished! I'd have to admit that I'm a bit 'over' Manor Red, but I'm sure that'll wear off now that it's finished. Light rain all day has prevented any further painting of the verandah timbers, as they're outside and too heavy to move inside! With everything totally back to normal here, when I look back on the snow pictures I can't help thinking 'did that really happen? I really like how it looks, with the 'break' between the main roof and the verandah, and how it all interacts with the portico.
