Sam's ROXY Sailing Stories

Sam's ROXY Sailing Stories. A little blog my me to share my adventures. Wednesday, April 23, 2008. Training at Port La Foret. After 2 days of solo training at Port La Foret, I am totally exhausted, but very happy! The big good news is that ROXY has made huge gains this winter! The two new assymetric daggerboards have changed our upwind performance significantly. Yesterday, I managed to stay with the new boats for a whole upwind leg in 8-14 knots of wind! Sam's ROXY Sailing Stories: Great Sailing on board ROXY

http://samdavies-sailing.blogspot.com/2008/04/great-sailing-on-board-roxy.html

Sam's ROXY Sailing Stories. A little blog my me to share my adventures. Sunday, April 13, 2008. Great Sailing on board ROXY. On Saturday, Erwan and I set off for another "test sail". As we were only two-up, we managed to time our outing to co-incide with JoJo (Seb Josse) and the BT Team, and they were kind enough to lend us Albert and their rib to help us off the dock! More about that later! Round Ile de Groix, a nice tack, a few sail changes, then bear away and gennaker up to wizz off downwind back home...

Sam's ROXY Sailing Stories. A little blog my me to share my adventures. Saturday, April 19, 2008. Update after a week of training. I am recovering at home after a week of hard training on the water! The first three days were with Tanguy Leglatin, with several objectives including solo manouvers, boat speed, working out how to optimise the new daggerboards, and also a day out with Philippe Le Gros from Incidences to work on sail design for the Vendee sails, and rig / sail tune for the Artemis Transat.

Pontifications. and stuff. Pontifications. and stuff. December 20, 2016. December 21, 2016. IStandWithMoore and the Liberalism of the Southern Baptist Convention. Russell Moore, President of the Southern Baptist Convention’s Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission, has recently come under immense pressure by prominent SBC pastors for his staunch opposition to Donald Trump.
