A Journey of Survival by Marilyn M. King. A Story of Breast Cancer Plus Some. Tuesday, June 26, 2012. Rewards of waiting . The second best thing that happened today was that I didn’t have to drink the barium drink, citrus flavor. This morning Dr. D called me just prior to the time for me to drink it as he had canceled today’s scheduled PETscan. The best thing that happened today . Dr. D told me that my bone tumors are not cancerous! Confirmed by the second biopsy. They are Cavernous Hemangiomas. We didn&...

Choosing a Future: The Final Chapter
http://choosingafuture.blogspot.com/2012/07/the-final-chapter.html
Moving forward with life and leaving behind the fear. Sunday, July 22, 2012. I had my follow up appointment with my plastic surgeon this week! I am now about 3 months post exchange. Things are looking good! Everything is pretty much healed up. I had three stitches that had worked their way to the surface so he pulled those out. The incisions look good and are will be fully healed in a couple weeks once the stitch spots heal over. I was lucky enough this time to not need hyperbaric! I'm sure my cholestero...

A Journey of Survival by Marilyn M. King. A Story of Breast Cancer Plus Some. Monday, June 25, 2012. More waiting and tests. My emotional state has been one of exuberance since the news that my "bad news" was incorrect. I'm happy that my first bone biopsy did not show cancer, but curiously I'm not as joyous. A Journey of Survival by Marilyn M. King. A Story of Breast Cancer Plus Some. Wednesday, June 27, 2012. Today we saw the breast surgeon. The doctors get younger and younger–––but we really liked him because he answered all our questions and gave us all the time we needed. My doc is presenting my hemangioma tumors to a thoracic conference and may be seeking outside opinions to determine how to proceed with the rib tumors. Marilyn M. King. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). A Journey of Survival by Marilyn M. King. A Story of Breast Cancer Plus Some. Tuesday, May 28, 2013. From the other side. It has been six weeks and five days since the rib tumors surgery. And it has been a year and ten days since the xray in my chiropractor’s office that began this journey of survival. What a year it has been! Full of anxiety at first but then as the Lord drew me near to him, a year of a wondrous spiritual transformation ( more about that later ) –– to Him be the glory! Im so sorry and I...

Since then, I had a few complications, due to which the process took much longer than planned. On March 1, 2016 I had my 9th surgery. Shortly after, I noticed a bit of ...
