The Ralls, Houghs, and Gires. My overseas friends (Beate, Aylen). My small group (the one i'm in and the one i led). God has blessed me greatly indeed. Tuesday, November 18, 2008. I now have a new way to misuse my planning period! In exactly 5 days I will be home! For a whole week! I'm looking forward to spending time with th...

Monday, February 23, 2009. I know. I've very over due. So I'm going to copy my old roommate, Katie, and do this blog the way we used to. informative lists. Awesome. This past weekend was Journey (Disciple Now). I had 11th grade girls and it was awesome! God moved in mighty ways. I keep fooling my self into thinking that life will soon slow down. I think it helps me for the time being. Daniel and I just celebrated 4 months. :). I had my first (and hopefully last) MRI this past week. It was unpleasant.

Saturday, January 3, 2009. Another neat thing was that each child pulled the name of the person who pulled theirs! I did the stocking shopping for Macy.) Here are the pictures. What could it be? And of course, Christmas jammies! I was a bit jealous of Miley's beautiful twirly nightgown! After we open our stockings, we always go get milkshakes and drive around looking at the Christmas lights around town. It was a wonderful night! Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Thursday, October 29, 2009. I feel like cooking! Almost been a month since my last post! Some of my friends and I are participating in an email recipe exchange. It's been fun getting different recipes from people I don't even know! Here are a few that I am looking forward to trying! This is one of my favorite easiest recipes but I make a few substitutions to make it healthy and a tasty…at least to my familyJ. 3/4 cup plain dry bread crumbs* (my substitute is the quick 3min oatmeal). 1 cup chicken broth.

Tuesday, May 12, 2009. The magnitude of this action; to pledge allegiance to something is anything but routine. It's a commitment, a lifestyle. According to dictionary.com to pledge allegiance is to solemnly promise the loyalty of a citizen to his or her government. I'll be the first to admit that I fall short of this. I complain along with everyone else about all the mistakes our government is making, certain. I often feel like the Divided States of America is a more appropriate name. Over the last ...

Living a life of victory. Thursday, January 29, 2009. So much to say. I have been meaning to post a blog all week, and still haven't found the time. Disciple Now was amazing! I have some funny videos to post as soon as I get more than 5 minutes to sit at the computer. I'll leave you with this prayer until then: "Lord, help us to let people disappoint us so that You can be our everything." Beth Moore prayed that at her Tuesday night Bible Study, and it really struck me! Blessings for the rest of the week!
