Sam's Road To Diagnosis and First Treatment Cycle. Macmillan Teenage and Young Adult Cancer Centre. Thursday, 25 September 2014. A very good day. Our appointment with the consultant Dr Daw was booked for today at 12.10pm. Sam and I met Jeremy up at UCLH. However, nothing to worry about! Dr Daw told us the scan results were 'all clear'. There had been no growth in any lumps whatsoever. And breathe. On leaving the hospital Sam became his normal cheeky self and was treated to a celebratory McDonalds.

Sam has had his mock GCSE exams (results yet to be received), we've enjoyed a family Christmas and been on a wonderful family skiing holiday in France over New Year. He is given all three drugs on day 1 and his body struggles to cope. Once they have tweaked around with his anti sickness he improves and doesn't look back!
