Skip to main content. SAMMIE offers continuing education scholarships to member libraries for a variety of staff development events. Scholarships are offered on a quarterly basis for any appropriate training, workshop, or seminar. This also includes annual events such as MLA, ITEM, Children's Literature conference, etc. Application is online, easy, and grants up to $400.00 are available throughout the year. Due to an illness and subsequent death in the family and being away from work so much, we will not be having this event. I only had two people volunteer to help with it and I just cannot get it all together in time to do justice for the event and for the children to have one.
