Trillium Fae's Nature Blog. Easier than writing lots of emails about my travels! Thursday, November 18, 2010. Pawtuckaway State Park Boulder Fields. The boulder "fields" were amazing. Huge remnants of an ancient ring dike. Formed by volcanic activity. and so hard to capture on film in a way to do their magnitude justice. Luckily, my brother makes a decent scale for perception and you'll spot him in a few of these photos. Is that a stream ran smack dab into one side of the granite and stopped in a pool th...

The Jazzy Little Elephant: We're not the only ones in Manchester
http://jazzyelephant.blogspot.com/2009/05/were-not-only-ones-in-manchester.html
Tuesday, May 26, 2009. We're not the only ones in Manchester. There is this statue at Victoria Park just across the street from my school. It was the Winged figure atop this structure that sparked my interest in all the statues in Manchester. So today inspired by Mellie's and Sammie's photo blogs, i was determined to find as many as i can. E trees. I think once i get a better camera and find more statues i will try to go out at a diffrent time of day and perhaps get better shots of the other three an...

Trillium Fae's Nature Blog. Easier than writing lots of emails about my travels! Tuesday, November 10, 2009. I admit, I've been procrastinating with new posts. A remarkably vibrant Autumn came and I didn't want to blink for fear of missing it. And then I've been doing more evening hikes - bad conditions for photography with my camera. The next image is what I opined to be a nice, quaint shot of the gardens of Beaver Brook in Hollis during the fall festival this year. So until I can format all the oth...

Trillium Fae's Nature Blog. Easier than writing lots of emails about my travels! Tuesday, February 8, 2011. Frozen Fern "growing" out of the snow. I found a bunch of these lovelies! Yesterday, I noticed my brother left his snowshoes in the back of my car. For the first time in weeks, it was above freezing outside, so I just had to get out into the woods and try those shoes out. I went to a long disused logging road across the pond from some well established beaver brook trails. Bobcat tracks in snow.

Trillium Fae's Nature Blog. Easier than writing lots of emails about my travels! Monday, June 22, 2009. Thanks to my conversation with the black and yellow butterfly herself, Caryn, I'm posting these 3 pics I took last year. The picture above was taken at the Beaver Brook gardens. I wish I didn't get so much haze, but I like it anyway. I could probably edit the haze out, but that wou. Ld defeat the purpose of perfection in nature. :). Monday, June 8, 2009. The Nature of Water.
