Donnerstag, 11. September 2008. Wie ihr vielleicht in den Nachrichten gehoert habt, wird Houston gerade von einem Hurrican bedroht, aber ihr muesst euch keine Sorge um mich machen. Die Schule fiel heute und morgen ins Wasser wo, dass wir alle genug Zeit haben um zu evakuiren, was wir natuerlich machen obwohl niemed Lust hat dazu. Dienstag, 10. Februar 2009. Mardi Gras in New Orleans. Nach dem teuren Mittagessen haben sich mein Bruder und ich uns auch ein Zigarre gegönnt um auch den Nachmittag zu geniessen :-). Dabei haben wir 4 Strassenkünstler angetroffen welche einen Mix von Comedy und Breakdance-Moves zeigten. 30 Minuten sind voller lachen und staunen schnell vorbei gegangen. Mittwoch, 10. Dezember 2008. Ihr alle denkt euch wahrscheinlinch, dass ich immer schön warm habe hier in Texas. Hatte ich eigentlich bisher auch doch heute, als ich mir kurzen Hosen in die Schule ging, dachte ich, ich werde nicht heil dort ankommen, es war soooo kalt. Und dann, nach der Schule fing es plötzlich an zu schneien (es hat erst einmal im Leben von meiner Gastmutter geschneit vorher! Habe eigentlich schon Glück viele Sachen hier zu erleben: zuerst de Hurrikan und dann Schnee in Texas xD.

Sonntag, 22. März 2009. Als wir gerade daran waren den Parks zu verlassen fand ein Parade statt an welchem an die Tiere teilnehmen mussten. Dies hat sich dann auch gerade gut als Gruppenfotozeit geeignet. Am Nachmittag sind wir dann auch schon weitergegangen zum wohl berühmtesten und wahrscheinlich auch den besten Park von Disney World, welcher Epcot heisst. Mittwoch, 6. August 2008. Houston - erste Eindrücke. 3 Tage nach meiner Ankunft war der Tag gekommen, an dem auch mein Hostbrother von den Ferien in Brasilien zurückgekommen ist. Da diese 3 Tage ohne gleichaltrige eher langweilig waren für mich waren, freute ich mich sehr auf seine Rückkehr. Dienstag, 4. November 2008. Seit rund 2 Wochen habe ich auch meinen Lehrfahrausweis und somit die Erlaubnis die ersten Erlebnisse auf der Strasse zu machen. Damit ich meinen Lehrfahrausweis bekam musste ich einen Test bestehen mit 32 Multiple Choice Fragen welche je eine richtige Antwort hatten, und es war, wie es natürlich tönt, sehr einfach. Als wir dann endlich in unserer Nachbarschaft angekommen waren, stellten wir fest, dass Clear Lake Forest nun wohl eher Clear Lake Wood heissen sollten. Etwa die Hälfte aller Bäume sind umgefallen und wie zu erwarten fielen nicht wenige an oder auf Häuser. Somit entstanden viele Schäden an den Dächern. Sonntag, 31. August 2008. Ich wollte eigentlich schon lange wieder mal einen Post schreiben, aber die Zeit geht viel zu schnell vorbei. Vor einer Woche am Sonntag ging ich mit einem Kumpel und dessen Freundin an ein Rock-Openair. Gespielt haben Interpreten wie Chris Cornell und Linkin Park.
