Altwater Chronicles: February 2012

Sunday, February 26, 2012. Takin' Care of Business - Round 1. As usual, Janice started her day with a round of sketching, only interrupted by a quick glance at her phone to make sure she didn't miss any calls from potential clients. Eventually she did get a call from Nancy Miguel who's looking to update her curb appeal. Of course, she couldn't really blame Nancy for seeking her services. Janice has visited Nancy and Youssef's home before, and there's absolutely no space for a newborn! Brooke seemed to li...

Altwater Chronicles: R1 - Dog Days
http://sims3parenthood.blogspot.com/2012/07/r1-dog-days.html
Thursday, July 19, 2012. R1 - Dog Days. Our week with the Gyles started off with a perfectly sunny day at the South Point Flea Market. Luke was a former botanist at the Sunset Valley Science Center, so he knew the value of fresh fruits and vegetables. Despite their short time in Millbrook, visiting the flea market every Saturday morning became routine. Erin, Luke, Lucas, and Kevin all sat down for their morning lunch. Nancy from down-the-street made a lovely autumn salad to share with the community.

Slices of Life: Checking in: a quiet week
http://slicesofsimlife.blogspot.com/2010/01/checking-in-quiet-week.html
Friday, January 1, 2010. Checking in: a quiet week. Menuchah's been working like a little beaver on her gardening and is now at level 7. Too bad that's all she ever does. She and William are still an item, but they aren't doing anything about it. I guess they like it the way it is. She's the one I've always had the most trouble getting out of the house, so I was glad to see her downtown talking to this townie. All right, Rachel, stop kidding around. Just put it back the way it was and leave it. I still c...

My Sims 3 Stuff! Saturday, January 29, 2011. I've decided to try to do the legacy challenge again. I spent a few hours setting up my game today. I created my founder and 'built' her house, which is just a bunch of furniture on her lawn :). If you're not familiar with this challenge, here. Are the rules I'm following. In addition to playing the challenge, I still intend to play and update my Simmons and Melanie games. I kinda have Sims 3 A.D.D. right now, so I'm bouncing around a lot! Hi Mum, It's Sammy.

Slices of Life: They grow up so fast
http://slicesofsimlife.blogspot.com/2009/12/they-grow-up-so-fast.html
Sunday, December 13, 2009. They grow up so fast. Well, I didn't save all of their jobs. It was too little too late. I'm not going to babysit them, though. Max got fired, or possibly quit, and Larry and Lexie both got demoted. On the other hand, Wyatt has reached level 6 in his career and Tyler's at level 5. Speaking of AJ, it looks as though she and Sam have moved away again. I don't like it, but they're going to have to stay gone this time. Free will is free will, after all. Stephanie is very excited to...

Slices of Life: December 2009
http://slicesofsimlife.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Friday, December 18, 2009. Random Christmas toddler pictures. This really has nothing to do with this game; I just didn't want to create a new blog just to post these pictures. If you'll vote on the best one(s), I'll put it on Simatography. I can't decide, and I don't want to flood them with 50 similar shots. The last two are my favorites, but once I started taking them, I didn't want to stop. Posted by Sue D. Nim. Monday, December 14, 2009. A rash of burglaries. Max is still unemployed. I can't keep...

Slices of Life: November 2009
http://slicesofsimlife.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Thursday, November 26, 2009. Checking in and growing babies. Menuchah finally started taking care of all her dying plants. She won't harvest them, though. She manages to look graceful and stunning even when she's getting her hands dirty in the garden. I saw Sam and AJ doing a flirty little dance at the pub. At the instant I snapped the picture, Sam shot me a LOOK. Here I am, World! Posted by Sue D. Nim. Tuesday, November 17, 2009. Oh, those doting daddies. It's no coincidence that I have almost nothing b...

World Adventures with the Grant Family: April 2010
http://wowindianasam.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Friday, April 23, 2010. The Journal of Phillip Grant - Nov 15. Hey, where's the family journal gone? Don't worry Dad, I got you covered. Since I decided we need more parties. Sheesh, what a fuss. As far as I could tell, Dad never really liked the whole journal thing. He only did it because Granddad asked him to. Everyone was having such a great time downstairs that only the family came up to eat. Dad had a chat to Aunt Laura, but I think it's time that will help her. Held a big beach party and invited al...
