Pat Stewart is now a Sir! Well after his stunning Leodegrance in Excalibur. I guess he knows the part. And to all those begrudgers on the various news sites comments pages complaining about overpaid arty types getting honours you can all all kindly fuck off! When you have contributed even a tenth of what the likes of Stewart have to society and that's not even counting his championing of various charities, notably domestic abuse charities, then you can cavil. Revenge is a dish best served. Do you know what my beloved daughter's BFF said to her when she came to our new house for the first time? This must be the worst house in the whole world! The old year runneth out. Lots of my FList have been running their summations of 2009 and with a few notable exceptions (yes,. I am thinking of you) the view seems to be 'Thank F* k that's over! I cannot quite muster the will to tackle the year in retrospective let alone the decade. So will settle for wishing us all very Happy New Year!
