Posidonio : Samos beaches - Your guide to beaches on Samos

This is a small beach on the east coast of Samos, well protected in a deep bay. Warm, silky smooth green water perfect for a relaxed day at the beach. The beaches consist of pebbles and stones, there are taverns literally next to the beach. Sunbeds and umbrellas are available. Access to the beach is really simple as you drive all the way down to the beach. About 10 kilometers southeastern from the capital town of Samos.

This is a nice beach with pebbles and sand located in western Samos, not to be mistaken for the other Psili Amos to the east. The beach consists of sand/pebbles, the sandy part is popular and will fill up quickly. You will find sunbeds etc on the beach and there are a few tavernas and a hotel, The Blue Horizon, nearby. The path down from the main road is quite steep. In the south west part of Samos, follow the road through Votsalakia and you can't miss it.

Samiopoula is a small island near the south coast of Samos. It can be visited by boat from Pythagorion daily, the voyage from Pythagorio to Samiopoula takes about one hour with a small boat. The beach on Samiopoula is one of the best beaches. You will find on Samos, fine sand and crystal clear water. Boat from Pythagorio. You will find both the boat and all information about the tour on the harbour promenade in Pythagorio.

Tsamadou Beach is located just outside Kokkari in a beautiful bay. You reach the beach via a rather steep path down from the main road, the path keeps getting better but it's quite a drop down from the road to the beach. There is a small kiosk on the beach as well as taverns nearby, sunbeds and umbrellas are available for hire and there are two sweet water showers near the kiosk. This is the only official nudist beach.
