The Sandoval Family: February 2010
http://sandovals-stephanie.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Welcome to Our World! Brian, Stephanie, Austin and Madison. Saturday, February 27, 2010. We were pretty lucky to have great weather in Chicago in the middle of Winter for the day my mom and I took Madison downtown to see Annie. We arrived early by train and hung out at Millenium park. I considered taking Madison ice skating there, but it was so unusually warm out that day the ice was melting, and therefore several puddles were all over the ice rink. Posted by The Sandoval Family. The Verpooten Family!: Drew and the "Not-So-Terrible" Summer
http://verpootens.blogspot.com/2014/08/drew-and-not-sod-terrible-summer.html
Saturday, August 9, 2014. Drew and the "Not-So-Terrible" Summer. Drew isn't allowed to get out of his room once he is put to bed. So he of course, pushes it RIGHT to the LINE. Literally. Well, they know better. And then started to refer to his “terrible brother.”. In his defense, he meant “terrible-two’s” brother. He loves Drew so much but got exasperated sometimes. He’d roll his eyes, raise open hands up and mimic Ruby from Max and Ruby, “Ohhhh, little brothers! And it’s true. A speech and physical ther...

The Verpooten Family!: 4th of July 2014
http://verpootens.blogspot.com/2014/07/4th-of-july-2014.html
Sunday, July 6, 2014. 4th of July 2014. Our 4th was again filled with food, friends, fireworks and family. We have had so many storms this summer that Drew didn't mind the fireworks noise much - as long as I covered his ears with my hands. He kept saying, "rain! Every time a firework went off. He thought it was thunder. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Subscribe to our Blog! Enter your email address:. 4 Parables, 2 Truths, and 1 Kingdom Worth Everything You Have. The Verpooten Family!: Miles' Summer of Awesome. Part One
http://verpootens.blogspot.com/2014/07/miles-summer-of-awesome-part-one.html
Sunday, July 6, 2014. Miles Summer of Awesome. Part One. This kid is having the time of his life this summer. Miles got to choose between soccer and baseball this spring. We were actually shocked that he chose soccer but once he got going, he did really well. His favorite was to play goalie and his team The Blue Highlighters (he came up with the team name) got 2nd place in the tournament. His regular season trophy and his 2nd place tournament trophy. Made a baking soda volcano. Made an ant farm. We are o...

The Verpooten Family!: Drew is Two!
http://verpootens.blogspot.com/2014/04/drew-is-two.html
Tuesday, April 22, 2014. Just a couple of days before 2, Drew grabs an egg at the LOFS clubhouse Easter egg hunt. It’s amazing how quickly 24 months pass. One minute you’re bringing home a screaming baby and the next, you’re trying to talk a screaming toddler down from a tantrum. Drew, you like to scream. We love you. Hear that. Read that. Soak that in, ok? You are trying our patience, child. At two, Drew:. Screams bloody murder when he doesn’t get his way. Any simple refusal cues a meltdown. Knows exact...

The Verpooten Family!: RIP Hank R. Chief Verpooten
http://verpootens.blogspot.com/2014/07/rip-hank-r-chief-verpooten.html
Saturday, July 12, 2014. RIP Hank R. Chief Verpooten. A boy and his dog. Man this dog loved food. A plain McDonald's cheeseburger was his birthday treat. Note the crazy expression. A boy and his dog. What an amazing member of our family. I feel like I can summarize the integration of Hank into our family with this:. We love Hank with the best kind of enduring love a pet can pull out of you. He was playful and rowdy, lazy and lumpy. He snored and barked in his sleep. He moaned when Dustin rubbed his ears.

Welcome to Our World! Brian, Stephanie, Austin and Madison. Saturday, January 16, 2010. Madi, Madi, Madi. Madison chose TGI Fridays for her birthday dinner with the family. I was surprised to see her actually get embarrassed when they asked her to stand on her chair while they sang "Happy Birthday" to her. I bought Madison some 2 pound weights so she could workout with me. She was so excited! Talking to Aunt Sheila on her birthday via skype! Carolyn, this picture is for you!
