Bath Spa Uni, 2008. Design a little book typographically exploring oxymorons. Book and promotional poster. Oxymorons have always interested me. Playful typography using only a limited range of typefaces and colour (in this case one typeface and two colours) seemed the logical format for displaying these contradictory words. The idea for the format came from one of the oxymorons itself, ‘less is more’, the working title for the book. Shown are some sample pages. All content www.samsweeney.com.

Turn on the volume and click the play button. Dogs' by Pink Floyd. Bath Spa Uni, 2006. Create a typographic animation of an interpretation of a song of my choice. Using concrete poetry as a starting point, I chose an extract (the climax) from the song 'Dogs' by Pink Floyd, performed by Roger Waters from his 'In the Flesh DVD. I chose to interpret these clever lyrics very literally for my animation. The animation was created using Flash. Act (drumming and graphics). Bath Spa Uni, 2008.
