There and Back

Home is here and there. Sunday, September 28, 2008. So it ends with the Mediterranean Sea out my window on the right and empty countryside all around. Spain was and shall always be for me a place of ease and enjoyment. And why should there not be such a place? Why should there be such depravity in my own country and relative happiness in the rest of the world? Well I know the answer and the answer is in me, in fact it is me. There and Back: November 2007

http://samueljanis.blogspot.com/2007_11_01_archive.html

Home is here and there. Sunday, November 25, 2007. Friday Saturday and Sunday. Where to begin eludes me (also where to end and where to go in between). It seems like I have been here in. For years, but only three days have elapsed. How quick I was to judge! And how ironic that I would choose the word groovy in my previous post, sarcastically describing and nearly dismissing the whole of the country in one FOUL mood! Let me stand completely correcte. The experience of being in. Y the experience itself.

There and Back: July 2008

http://samueljanis.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html

Home is here and there. Saturday, July 26, 2008. And so the curse of Kuta began. Hobbled and without access to cash, we spent the next day attempting to move ourselves out of Kuta into mellower surroundings and gentler reef breaks. I managed to get the block removed from my card, and strangely enough Noah happened to find his card had been returned to a random hotel near where it had slipped out. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Home is here and there. Saturday, January 26, 2008. January 10, 2008. How do you measure someone’s commitment to the path? How genuine is the desire? How present is the path? Yes I know what it is now. “Reliance Mobile Blog, I share the my diary with the whole world, because in my world there are no strangers. What’s your world? Tuesday, January 1, 2008. Off I go, no longer getting there, but arriving and in a matter of a few hours, BEING there! Happy Happy and Hopeful New Year to all! January 10, 2008.

There and Back: The Rising and Falling of Late

http://samueljanis.blogspot.com/2008/08/rising-and-falling-of-late.html

Home is here and there. Friday, August 15, 2008. The Rising and Falling of Late. After I reluctantly parted ways with Stefan, I went briefly to the supermarket for provisions (an easy 30 euros for one bag of groceries, ouch! Dude, your life is lame.boring. When are you going to get a real job and work hard like your parents did? I've been to that natural history museum in Addis. The real question is when are you going to come back and get your ass kicked on some east coast crack climbs with me?

Tuesday, July 31, 2012. July is birthday month 'round these parts. When the kids were little Elijah would get confused because Sease, Nic, and I all had July birthdays, and he was alone in November. Now, I've never really done any parties, outside of adult family, with the kids. But since Savanna and Makenna were around for Enoch's birthday this year, I figured I'd throw something together. Luckily I had all the moms around to help. Friday, June 8, 2012. My childhood game obsession was with Tetris. N...
