The 9,000 gallons of water in the cistern is only lasting 1 month! Because there is NO ROOF YET the sun is evaporating the water faster than they can use it. Restoring life to the Haitian Plateau. Saturday, February 28, 2015. The last three days the men have been working hard to get the water cistern done. Things did not go according to plan but that’s to be expected when you work in the area a place we do. At 4 AM the guys were up to water the trees. Many ask how it’s possible to water over a thousand trees by hand. The answer is…THEY DO. Having the water cistern done will tremendously help the guys have a source of water on the land. ALL CAME OUT TODAY!
