Tuesday, July 3, 2012. Day Trip to Wimberley. Entering a seemingly slow weekend we gathered a group for the Wimberley day trip Ive been meaning to do for some time. Wimberley is a small town in the Texas Hill Country about 45 minutes outside of Austin and full of little weekend things to do. Swimming Hole #1 - Jacob's Well. Vine-yard tour - Driftwood Vineyard. Swimming Hole #2 - The Blue Hole. We then headed to the blue hole for some relaxing in the sun and to take in this Central Texas favorite.
