San Anton School Weather Station. The Junior Sector Boys Football Team took part in a tournament for primary school boys on 24th March 2014. This tournament organised by the P.E. teachers, was held at St Martin’s College with 10 teams taking part. San Anton School was drawn to play in Group B along with Chiswick House School B, St Martin’s College B, Theresa Nuzzo School and St Edward’s College. Head of P.E. Department.

San Anton School Weather Station. Girls Primary Schools Football Festival. Throughout this scholastic year, the Junior Sector Girls Football Team took part in three festivals organised by the Women’s Section of the MFA. These tournament were held at San Anton School, St Martin’s College and the last one, on the grass training pitches at Ta’ Qali. The San Anton girls, as always cheered on by a good number of parents, remained unbeaten throughout these tournaments, winning 12 matches and drawing just once.

San Anton School Weather Station. As San Anton School opened its gates this morning, the Junior Sector was transformed into a kaleidoscope, as children trooped into School in their carnival costumes. The corridors were awash with colour as princesses, fairies, clowns, cowboys, robots, popular cartoon characters, and super heroes trooped around the school whilst swashbuckling pirates and Spanish senoritas cavorted around the classes.

This year, the Fundraising Committee organised a series of Carnival Parties for the Early Year and Junior Sectors, with all proceeds going towards the completion of the School Library Refurbishment Project. These fun-filled events were held after school hours and provided hours of fun and carnival revelry. Thanks to the members of the fundraising team who made it all possible.

Earlier this scholastic year, as part of their Humanities topic pertaining to the E.U., the Grade 7 ( Year 6) students extended an inivitation to Dr. Peter Agius, Head of The European Parliament Office in Malta, to visit the school on Thursday 26th February, in order to give a presentation about the European Union.
