一月 23, 2008 at 9:59 上午. 在台灣屬於較晚開發的地方，1796年吳沙率領漳泉粵三籍人士從 頭圍(城)開始拓墾土地，三星這位在宜蘭平原西邊的土地，除有原本即居住山上的泰雅 族人的 出草 習慣，危及移民生命財產外，加上蘭陽溪的洪水氾濫，一片砂礫景象，當然不是移民首 要的考慮地點，所以，三星的開發，在宜蘭而言，是屬於較晚開發的區域。 事實上，由於三星是宜蘭平原較晚開發的地方，尤其是當漢人成為宜蘭平原的強勢族群後，受到漢人壓 迫的西部流蕃及一部分的噶瑪蘭平埔族人便把這塊蘭陽溪流域的 沙埔 當作其生存的一塊淨土。 1895年，日治後設立叭哩沙撫墾署，到1920年日治政府實施 街庄名改正 後，才正式 稱為三星庄，而 三星.
