Tuesday, October 27, 2009. I know I know I don't update enough.get over it. Is that a park? It looks like a lake! I didn't know I had a lake house. The 1st snake of the summer was a Texas Rat Snake(non-poisonous). This is not my picture I didn't get a good one cause it was too fast, but this is what it looked like. Snake was a Yellow-Bellied Water Snake(non-poisonous). Here it is on the side walk in the backyard. This one stayed around a long time and even crawled into the dogs bed for a while.

Sunday, November 30, 2008. But, I think his favorite thing was the popcorn. We got one bag to share but I think Laura and I only ate a little and Carter ate the rest. I don't think we even made a dent in it. It was all really good I took some home and now have enough food for a few good dinners. Monday, November 3, 2008. Halloween was a lot of fun! Sunday, May 17, 2009. The past few months. Once again I've been terrible about updating. My only excuse is that I've just had a ton going on. The first week of March my cousin Holly moved here to live with me from New Mexico. It has been really fun having her around! So anyway its been kind of a crazy couple of months. I think God planned everything to happen in that order so that we ended on a happy note. Gaining Shannon and Lexie sure helped to dampen the sadness of losing Cara and my Grandma.

Tuesday, September 2, 2008. So my parents came to visit this weekend and they brought me tons of presents! I got a whole houseful of new furniture (well new to me anyway). They brought my piano, and a whole bunch of stuff given to me by some of their friends and my family. A whole bunch of people helped in getting and restoring the furniture. I have so many thank you notes to send out now. My house actually looks lived in now. Everything is sooooo nice I love it! The front of my house. The tv nook is new.

Sunday, February 8, 2009. I got a Turkey! No, I did not get a pet turkey. But, I did get a turkey, meaning I got three strikes in a row while bowling today! I was so excited, I think thats the first time I've ever done that! I can't believe it! This is the first time I've ever even been close to the top. I hope I can keep it up for the next four games. The winner gets the lifegroup bowling pin trophy until there is a new winner, and all winners names are printed on the pin. Wish me luck. I got a Turkey!

Saturday, October 2, 2010. First Professional Pictures Taken. When Hayden was 2 1/2 weeks old, we took him to JCPenney Photo Studio to get professional pictures taken. He was so active and would not lay still. He actually tried to crawl across the photo table. The photographer was very impressed with his ability to hold up his head, but I told him he had an advantage with his head being in the 10% range for head size! Mama and Papa Spirlong.
