Why get stuck on the freeway, when you don't have to? To get here, take the 5 freeway to the Seaworld exit and follow the signs where it says Sunset Cliff Boulevard. On Sunset Cliffs you'll take a right on Newport Avenue which is the main drag in OB. You can park on the street, or there is parking near the beach. There is a path, (above) just south of the OB Pier which goes for a few blocks along the ocean. Check it out during the day, at night it gets a little sketchy.

TRAVEL IN and AROUND SAN DIEGO. San Diego's population is around 3 million. About 300 miles of freeways and 7,200 miles of streets and roads. About 2 miles of roads per thousand people, about the same as L.A. San Diego is fairly easy city to get around. The freeways are clearly laid out.
