In a little known law that allows adults to drink in the water along Mission Bay, a group of an estimated 1,000 people or so gathered recently to party, San Diego style. When laws were passed in the last several years to remove drinking from the beach, business dropped at many hotels and restaurants along the beaches of San Diego such as Mission Beach, Ocean Beach, and Pacific Beach. Merchants say they are hanging in there.

It includes a great setting where it's never too hot or cold. If you can make it over to the event, it's lots of fun for all ages.
