From San Diego to Spain: September 2010

http://sandiegotospain.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html

From San Diego to Spain. And everything else in between. Tuesday, September 28, 2010. Jesus loves me because. I live next to a place that has THIS! Churros con chocolate :) Yum. Saturday, September 25, 2010. Warning.kind of graphic). Yesterday marked our second full week of school. We have class from Monday to Thursday, and then we usually have an activity on Friday (aka we basically go see the place(s) we talked about in History class on Thursday). This used to be the outside wall surrounding the city.

From San Diego to Spain: November 2010

http://sandiegotospain.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html

From San Diego to Spain. And everything else in between. Tuesday, November 30, 2010. The bar we went to was divided. After each goal, half the people would jump up screaming, and the other half would have their heads in their hands.also screaming.but in frustration. The bar kind of sounded like this: "Venga.venga, venga, venga! Vengavenga, venga, venga.GOALLLLLLLLLLL! Monday, November 29, 2010. El día de acción de gracias. Just so you know.I missed all of you at home dearly. They had turkey too! You mean...

From San Diego to Spain. And everything else in between. Thursday, December 30, 2010. So this is my final post. I apologize for being so late.but it was really hard to not just jump right back into my American life. However, I can’t really leave my blog without a close, now can I? La Mezquita in wintertime. In this past week or so of being home, every single person has asked me the same question, “How was Spain? This is my basic conclusion (I realize it’s long, but hey, I had four months! how He loves us: September 2010

http://spencerhuey.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html

How He loves us. Sunday, September 26, 2010. The Lord Provides. He really does. God has really blessed me in so many ways. We are pretty much settled here in Canterbury. We have been to the city a few times now and we know our way around. The city of Canterbury is what I imagine the stereotypical English countryside to be: huge, lush fields of grass dotted with oak trees, a clean, non polluted river full of fish and moor hen. We are going to meet up with our friend, Janice. I am also really excited becau...

Salt&Spatula: Barcelona: Tapas, Mercat and Bacallà

http://www.saltandspatula.com/2010/10/barcelona-tapas-mercat-and-bacalla.html

Thursday, October 14, 2010. Barcelona: Tapas, Mercat and Bacallà. This past weekend, I went to Barcelona, Spain with. We saw many works of the Catalan architect, Antoni Gaudi, throughout the city. My favorite was the Sagrada Familia, which is a catholic church which has been under construction since 1882. Even though construction has taken well over a hundred years, it still has about 20 more years to go. Of course, we had tapas, many small plates of food making up a whole meal. Labels: events and places.

sandiegotosantiago | A pilgrimage along the Camino de Santiago – the Way of St. James.

A pilgrimage along the Camino de Santiago the Way of St. James. About Me and the Camino. May 27, 2015. As the Facebook entry stated: This is Erika from Canada. She is 86 years old and is currently on her 12th Camino, having completed her first at 75. She thinks this might be her last though, as despite sending her luggage ahead and only walking around 9km per day, she’s finding it a bit tough this year. She is bloody amazing! I couldn’t have said it better. May 5, 2015. Foot care on the Camino. First thi...

San Diego to Sequoia

San Diego to Sequoia. Cycling 700 miles, just to get to work. Sunday, June 9, 2013. I am writing from the deck of the main lodge at Montecito Sequoia Resort at roughly 7,400 feet elevation. I can see snow capped mountains in the distance, watch deer wander through camp, and enjoy the sounds of birds, bugs, and squirrels. It is a nice change from the valley. As I continued up out of the valley, I was sweating buckets. I quickly ran out of water. I crawled into the tiny town of Squaw Valley (not to...I onl...
